Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) is a recognized medical treatment utilizing oxygen, which enhances the body’s natural healing process. This is achieved by inhalation of 100% oxygen in a precisely controlled and specially designed total body chamber.
How does it work?
This process delivers oxygen to all the body’s tissues and fluids: blood, bone, organs, brain, and even to those areas with diminished or blocked blood flow.
What results are possible?
The increased oxygen enhances the ability of white blood cells to kill bacteria, reduces local swelling and allows new vessels to grow more rapidly into the affected areas. This promotes the healing of oxygen deprived tissues.
